THE ORIGINS OF OUR BREAKFAST INGREDIENTS:
We take pride in knowing the provenance of the extensive range of Scottish produce on our breakfast menu and use only the very best of ingredients: we source our cold meats, cheeses, porridge oats, salmon and eggs from Scottish suppliers. The bacon and pork sausages are bought from local farm shops. The black pudding is produced in Stornoway (Isle of Lewis) by Charles MacLeod and the vegetarian haggis is a product of MacSween of Edinburgh. We use Scottish vine tomatoes and locally grown fruit when in season. In the garden we grow our own rhubarb, berries, apples and herbs. The granola, scones, cakes and bakes are homemade. Our bread and muffins are bought from bakers in the local area. The preserves and honey are produced in Scotland and often made in the kitchen @ Arden House. Our teas and coffees are Fairtrade.
